By the integral development and the protection of the rights of young people, 22 heads of State from countries in Latin America approved the Ibero-American Youth Pact. This agreement, signed on 28 and 29 October 2016 in Colombia, establishes a partnership between the Nations of the region for the development of policies, programs, projects and initiatives for youth.

The Pact consists of 24 agreements, which include stockings in terms of education, employment, culture, new digital technologies, inclusion, social and political participation, economic empowerment and more factors that are key to improving living conditions, development and the guarantee of the rights of the more than 160 million young people in the region.

In juventud.org, platform created by the international organization of youth for Ibero-America, youth and interested parties can access the information and actions that are generated from the Covenant. Other materials such as student scholarships, job offers, cultural programs, contests, announcements and publications are also available.
